Top 5 Medical Apps on Android in the Middle East Q4 2024

In the fourth quarter of 2024, the Middle East saw intriguing trends in the performance of top medical apps on the Android platform. According to Sensor Tower, these apps exhibited varied patterns in downloads, revenue, and active user engagement.

Meena Health demonstrated a notable surge in downloads, peaking at around 36.1K in mid-December after starting the quarter with just 57 downloads. Despite this increase, the app did not report any revenue during this period.

DOSA Apps' Microphone Amplifier experienced gradual growth in both revenue and user engagement. Revenue climbed steadily, reaching approximately $102 by the end of December. Downloads followed a similar upward trajectory, culminating in 8.9K in the last week of the year, while active users increased significantly to about 7.3K.

The Sahatna - صحتنا app, published by the Department of Health in Abu Dhabi, saw its downloads rise sharply to 20.1K in mid-December. Active users also grew from 20 to 133 over the quarter, indicating increasing user engagement, though the app did not generate any revenue.

Mobile JKN maintained consistent downloads, with a slight rise to 4.3K by the end of December. Active users remained robust, ending the quarter at approximately 10.7K.

Finally, myAster showed stable download numbers, with a slight peak at 4.8K in early December. Active users increased steadily, reaching around 134K by the end of December.
